The S2S Equine Rescue Summer Internship Program

At Slaughter 2 Success Equine Rescue, we believe in creating opportunities—not only for horses, but for the next generation of compassionate equine industry professionals dedicated to making a difference. The Equine Rescue Summer Internship Program provides interested high school and college students with hands-on experience in equine rescue, rehabilitation, nonprofit operations, and animal welfare. Interns will work alongside volunteers and professionals to learn what it takes to provide a second chance to horses in need. No prior experience with green/rescue horses required, but basic animal handling and care experience skills preferred. Must be at least 15 to apply, and capable of providing your own transportation.
